For the use of military force for hostile governments desiring to possess a nuclear weapon, we should always utilize diplomacy and economic sanctions first before resorting to military intervention.
My top priorities include increasing funding to education at all levels (pre-K, K-12, college, and technical training) in order to ensure that our population stays competitive in today's global world. Specifically, I would like to introduce bills that would create funds for a national pre-K program for rural and low-income areas and a federal matching program to help increase technical training across our country. Second, I would like to promote more domestic renewable manufacturing and ensure our laws are conducive to promoting renewable energy use and production nationally.
